InsideTracker UK Alternative: Options Compared (2026)
US platform, UK options

InsideTracker in the UK
Can You Use It? (2026)

The short answer: not fully. InsideTracker does not offer blood draws in the UK. Its blood tests run in the US and Canada only, and UK residents can buy an upload-only membership, $149 a year, to analyse results they get elsewhere (checked November 2026). So the real choice is which UK test to take. For a similar-sized, fitness-focused panel, Medichecks Ultimate Performance is the closest match. For more depth in one draw, the TrueVitals Ultimate panel tests 140 biomarkers (139 for women) for £399 including the blood draw, with a clinician-reviewed report and a PhenoAge biological age.

InsideTracker and UK provider facts checked on their own websites, November 2026. Written by James Smillie, founder of TrueVitals; reviewed by the TrueVitals clinical review team. We make two of the UK options below: see our bias statement.

What InsideTracker Is

InsideTracker, in its own words

InsideTracker is one of the longest-running US consumer biomarker platforms. It pairs a blood test with an app that scores your results across up to 10 "healthspan" categories and turns them into a customisable Action Plan. Here is what its store and help centre said when we checked in November 2026.

Using It From the UK

What a UK resident can actually do with InsideTracker

You cannot book an InsideTracker blood test in the UK. InsideTracker's help centre is explicit: US customers can use all of its blood tests, Canadian customers must use the mobile draw, and "all other countries" get a membership for uploading results from other providers. A separate article says InsideTracker does not currently plan to expand its international blood draw services, citing the difficulty of arranging labs that meet local requirements.

You can use it as an analysis app for UK results. The international InsideTracker Membership costs $149 a year and renews automatically. It lets you upload up to 30 result sets a year (PDF or JPEG with a visible test date, or typed in), sync a wearable, and get InsideTracker's biomarker analysis, healthspan scores and Action Plan. InsideTracker says it supports 18 languages and their units.

The catches. Only biomarkers on InsideTracker's own list are analysed: "If your third-party blood test reports on biomarkers not included in our tests, those results will not be analyzed." So a large UK panel will only be partly used. DNA services are not available outside the US. InnerAge is sold separately at $99 a calculation and needs at least albumin, glucose, LDL cholesterol and triglycerides; check it is available on an international account before you rely on it. And you still have to pay for the UK blood test itself.

Who this suits. If you already use InsideTracker from time spent in the US, or you particularly want its app and wearable integration, uploading UK results keeps everything in one place. If you are starting from scratch in the UK, most people will get more from choosing a UK test that comes with its own interpretation.

Being Fair

The closest UK alternatives, and who each suits

Medichecks Ultimate Performance: the closest like-for-like. If InsideTracker appealed because of its athletic, performance focus, this is the UK test that comes nearest in size and spirit. Fifty-six venous biomarkers for £199, plus £35 for a partner-clinic draw: full blood count, lipids, liver, kidney, thyroid with antibodies, testosterone, free testosterone (calculated), SHBG, oestradiol, LH, FSH, prolactin, cortisol, DHEA-S, iron studies, active B12, folate, vitamin D and hs-CRP, with a bespoke doctor's report and results in an estimated 3 working days. On the page we checked it did not list ApoB, Lp(a) or insulin. Medichecks Ultimate Performance vs TrueVitals Ultimate, marker by marker.

Lola Health Peak Insights 70: depth for the price. Seventy venous markers from £200, with a phlebotomist at home or a clinic and results typically within 4 working days of the lab receiving the sample (lolahealth.com/pages/how-it-works, checked November 2026). Lola says its results are reviewed by doctors. TrueVitals vs Lola in detail.

TrueVitals Ultimate: 140 biomarkers (139 for women) from one draw. 140 biomarkers (139 for women) for £399 including the blood draw at one of 103 partner clinics, or £29 extra at home or work. Samples go to Nationwide Pathology (UKAS-accredited). It adds what the performance panels leave out: ApoB, Lp(a), fasting insulin with HOMA-IR, cystatin C, full thyroid with antibodies, complete hormones, tumour markers and urinalysis. The clinician-reviewed report is written from your own lifestyle quiz and reads every result together across body systems.

TrueVitals Signature: everything. 230 biomarkers for £799 including the draw at a Randox Health clinic, with results in up to 12 working days. It adds specialist markers such as homocysteine. See the Signature panel.

What InsideTracker Users Want

How to get the same things from a UK test

A biological age. InsideTracker sells InnerAge. Every TrueVitals Ultimate and Signature report includes PhenoAge, a published biological age estimate (Levine et al., 2018) from nine blood markers and your actual age, plus TrueScore, one score out of 100 for the whole panel. Biological age blood tests explained.

Performance and recovery markers. Testosterone, SHBG, free androgen index, cortisol, DHEA-S, full blood count, iron studies, vitamin D and creatine kinase are all in Ultimate. If you train seriously, our blood test for athletes guide covers what to test and when.

Long-term health, not just this season. ApoB, Lp(a), insulin resistance, hs-CRP, kidney function from cystatin C and the liver fibrosis scores FIB-4 and APRI are the markers most linked to how well you age. They are all in Ultimate.

Tracking over time. InsideTracker is built around retesting. A TrueVitals test is one-off, with no app or subscription, but each new report is compared with your last, so a second test shows a direction rather than another snapshot. If you prefer InsideTracker's app, you can upload any UK results to its international membership.

How to Choose

Five questions before you buy

1. Do you want an app or a report? InsideTracker is an app-led experience with an Action Plan. Medichecks gives a doctor's report; TrueVitals a clinician-reviewed written report that reads every result together.

2. How many markers do you actually need? A performance panel of around 55 markers covers the basics of training and recovery. If you also want heart risk beyond cholesterol, insulin resistance or tumour markers, you need a larger panel.

3. Is it a venous draw? All the UK options in our table use a venous draw by a phlebotomist or nurse, the same sample type InsideTracker uses in the US. For panels this size, that matters.

4. What will it cost all in? Add the draw fee to the panel price, and for InsideTracker add the annual membership. Compare on the total.

5. What happens if something is abnormal? Every private test, ours included, is a complement to your GP, not a replacement. Anything that needs investigating or treating goes to your GP.

Our Honest Take

When TrueVitals is not the right choice

If you want a smaller, lower-cost test, Medichecks Ultimate Performance or a Lola panel costs less, and for a fit person tracking training a 56- or 70-marker panel may be all you need.

If you want an app, wearable integration and a rolling action plan, that is InsideTracker's strength and not ours. We have no app and no subscription. Testing in the UK and uploading the results to an InsideTracker membership gives you that.

If you want a doctor's comments on each result or a consultation, Medichecks includes a bespoke doctor's report. Our report is clinician-reviewed and a named account manager answers questions about it, but there is no consultation.

If you want results fastest, Medichecks quotes an estimated 3 working days from lab receipt; Lola says typically within 4 working days of the lab receiving the sample, and Ultimate is within 4 working days.

How we compared (and our bias)

TrueVitals is a UK blood testing company; we compare ourselves too. Every InsideTracker, Medichecks and Lola figure on this page comes from that company's own website as we read it in November 2026 (reviewed 2 November 2026); we did not buy their tests for this comparison. Where a provider did not publish a detail, we left it blank rather than estimate it. InsideTracker prices are in US dollars and we have not converted them. Two of the five UK options are ours; we have said plainly where another provider or InsideTracker's own upload membership is the better choice. Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is InsideTracker available in the UK?
Only partly. InsideTracker's blood tests are available in the US (at a Quest Diagnostics location or by mobile blood draw) and in Canada (mobile draw only). For all other countries, including the UK, it offers a membership that lets you upload blood results from your doctor or other providers. Its help centre says it does not currently plan to expand international blood draw services (checked November 2026).
Can I upload UK blood test results to InsideTracker?
Yes. The InsideTracker Membership ($149 a year, auto-renewing) lets you upload up to 30 sets of results a year as a PDF or JPEG with a visible test date, or enter them by hand. Only markers on InsideTracker's own list are analysed; anything else on your report is ignored. InsideTracker says a complete metabolic panel, a lipid panel or a full blood count is enough to start.
How much does InsideTracker cost?
Prices on store.insidetracker.com in November 2026, in US dollars: Membership plus one Ultimate Blood Test $489 (the membership fee is included); a further Ultimate test for members $340; Membership plus the Foundation test $348; and the international upload-only Membership $149 a year. InnerAge, its biological age analysis, is $99 per calculation.
How many biomarkers does InsideTracker test?
InsideTracker says its Ultimate Blood Test "looks at up to 54 biomarkers". It does not state a count for the Foundation test on the product page we checked. For comparison, TrueVitals Ultimate tests 140 biomarkers (139 for women) and Medichecks Ultimate Performance tests 56.
Does InsideTracker DNA work in the UK?
No. InsideTracker's help centre says it is unable to provide DNA services, the DNA kit or DNA results upload, to customers outside the US because of data privacy laws.
Is there a UK version of InsideTracker's InnerAge?
Not from InsideTracker itself, but the idea is available in the UK. Every TrueVitals Ultimate and Signature report includes PhenoAge, a published biological age estimate (Levine et al., 2018) calculated from nine blood markers and your actual age. InsideTracker says InnerAge needs at least albumin, glucose, LDL cholesterol and triglycerides.
What is the best UK alternative to InsideTracker?
It depends on what you liked about it. For a venous panel of a similar size with an athletic focus, Medichecks Ultimate Performance (56 biomarkers, £199 plus £35 for a clinic draw) is the closest match. For a much deeper single draw with a written report and a biological age, TrueVitals Ultimate (140 biomarkers, £399 including the clinic draw). If it is InsideTracker's app and action plan you want, you can test with any UK provider and upload the results to an InsideTracker membership.
